The Rotor Impact Mill of type RPM is a high-capacity vertical shaft crusher. It is ideal in order to obtain a high crushing ratio in the case of soft or medium-soft rock (f.i. limestone). The intensive crushing effect is achieved between the horseshoe-shaped hammers and the annular steel plating. The desired grading curve is determined by the rotor speed and the adjustable annular gap.
The Twin-Shaft Batch Mixer of type DKX from BHS-Sonthofen is the benchmark in mixing technology. Twin-shaft mixing technology is suitable for all formulas and offers a wide range of benefits. The mixing technique has a significant effect on the quality of the mixture and the economic efficiency of the production process. Thanks to the proven design and arrangement of the mixing tools, you will achieve consistent homogeneous mixtures batch after batch in less time.
The VSI Rotor Centrifugal Crusher of type RSMX TwinDrive is a high-performance vertical shaft crusher. It is ideal for size reduction and upgrading (cubical shaping) of material from medium-hard or hard rock. Due to the rock-on-rock crushing principle wear is reduced to very few components. The machine processes up to 580 t/h depending on the required task.

Individual solutions for a wide range of mixtures
Dry powder batch mixers (DMX) are adapted to the special requirements of mixing dry materials, such as cement, dry mortar, bonding compounds and dry shotcrete. Since dry building materials encompass a wide range of aggregates, cements and admixtures, different application-specific drive variants are available for the mixers with different speeds and mixing tools. These can be individually configured according to the application. With an extensive modular system and various options, they can be customized to the products of the user, from fine-grained materials such as cement to mortar mixtures with coarse particles up to 8 mm in size. BHS offers a range of machines with throughput rates of up to 300 t/h.
Compared with single-shaft mixers, they offer considerably better mixing with short mixing cycles. The DMX mixers are more compact and also represent good value for money.
Rotor impact mills with a narrow milling gap produce a higher proportion of fine sand
The new rotor impact mills of type RPMF produce even finer fractions as well as output material with a significantly higher proportion of fine sand. As such, they are more efficient in producing crushed sand. The RPMF design is a variant of the rotor impact mills (RPM), which are known in the industry as ‘sand makers.’ BHS designed both types of machines to be used primarily with pre-crushed, brittle and mildly abrasive. Impact crushing has proven to be the best method for crushing these kinds of materials.
BHS-Sonthofen developed the new machine type specifically for finer output sizes. Thanks to a longer, narrower milling gap and increased circumferential speed (of up to 90 m/s) in the rotor, the RPMF archive higher reduction ration than other machines do. As a result, they provide users with output material that contains a higher proportion of fine-sand.
Twin-shaft batch mixer from BHS-Sonthofen proves its worth in a major project
Europoles delivered 618 supports made from white, high-strength spun concrete for the third largest mosque in the world in Algiers. The pole manufacturer from Neumarkt (Germany) produced the concrete for the up to 34 m high and up to 34 t columns with twin-shaft batch mixers from the BHS-Sonthofen DKX range.
The Great Mosque of Algeria is a vast cube with a capacity of up to 35,000 people. The production of total 618 octagonal concrete supports for the imposing structure was not an every-day project even for Europoles.
The Europoles plant technology department finally decided upon the most powerful and fastest mixer from BHS-Sonthofen - a DKX 1.25 with a rated output of 1.25 m³ of hardened concrete per batch. Due to its high filling degree, this mixer type is extremely compact while providing the required throughput.
